Bio
I have worked in graphic design for over two decades and created print design materials for bicycle companies in Vancouver between 2002-2012. I also spent six months in Africa working as the Communications lead for a Christian NGO. My involvement in the Local Food Movement inspired me to return to school to finish my BA in Environmental Studies. Working as a research assistant — and co-author of a historical biography — opened the door to some wonderfully diverse freelance contracts. I have spent the past five years creating communications materials for the North Saskatchewan River Watershed Alliance, a wonderful non-profit that educates and partners with diverse groups to better all things related to water and watersheds. Learn more at www.nswa.ab.ca My main interests are local food and history, human connection to the environment, and biographical stories.
